League Format: Each team will play home/away with each team and an additional single home and away game according to the draw (attached), for a total of 18 games. Motion: Swift Current, Second: Maple Creek, carried.
League Start Date: League play can start Oct 16th and all games must be completed by February 12th. Make up games between February 13th - February 16th, with games to be made up earlier if possible.
Sask First - No games are to be scheduled December 2nd - 4th, December 28th - 30th, February 17th - 19th
All rosters MUST be submitted prior to any league play. AP rosters must be submitted prior to AP’s playing or the Hockey Sask AP deadline at the latest (Jan 10, 2023). Scheduling changes must be submitted to SSHL Secretary by the HOME team. Southwestskhl@gmail.com
Game sheets to be sent to the Commissioner within 24 hours and scores updated on the website by home team.
Play-offs: top 8 teams will play by seating with highest seated playing lowest seated; 1st vs 8th, 2nd vs 7th, etc.
“Survivor” game between 8th & 9th for final play off spot to be played Feb 17-19th (*subject to Sask first)
Playoffs will all be best of 3 for each round Motion: Shaunavon, Second: Swift Current, carried.
Round 1 = February 20th - March 5th; Round 2 = March 6th - March 12th; Round 3 = March 13th - March 19th
